Board of Directors Meeting
Jasper County Emergency Services
October 22nd, 2021
Chairman Fries called the special Board meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. Meeting was held at the Board office, 13870 Dispatch Lane, Carthage, MO as per public notice. Present in addition to Chairman Fries, Dan Stanley via conference call, Carl Francis, James Harrison. Representing staff was Executive Director (ED Ford) April Ford and Office Support Clerk Amber Madison.
Unfinished Business
Consultant – Countywide Public Safety Radio Project
Executive Director Ford advised the Board that she has three Radio Consultant bids to discuss. Two Companies bid on time and one Company bid late and their bid was not accepted.
Jasper County Emergency Services Board announced to close the portion of the meeting for specifications for competitive bidding pursuant to Mo. Statute Section 610.021 (11).
12:03 p.m. Director Francis motioned to go into closed session. Director Harrison seconded the motion. Vote: 4-0. The motion was adopted.

12:08 p.m. Director Francis motioned to come out of closed session. Director Harrison seconded the motion. Vote: 4-0. The motion was adopted.

Director Francis motioned to accept Tusa Consultant Services bid and to approve Chairman Fries to sign the contract. Director Harrison seconded the motion. Vote: 4-0. The motion was adopted.
12:11 p.m. Director Stanley motioned to adjourn. Director Francis seconded the motion. Vote: 4-0. The motion was adopted.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2nd at 12:00 p.m.
