Board of Directors Meeting

Jasper County Emergency Services

September 24^th, 2024

Chairman Dagnan called the meeting to order at 12:04 p.m. The meeting was held at the Jasper County Emergency Services Dispatch Center 13870 Dispatch Lane Carthage, MO as per public notice. Present in addition to Chairman Dagnan, Director Brandy Corum, Director Stanley, Director Hawkins, and Director Steve Weaver.

Representing staff –Executive Director (ED) Lisa McCool-Rataczak, Deputy Director (DD) Brandon McClintock, and Operations Manager (OM) Amber Madison.

Representing Public – News Broadcaster Gretchen Bolander, and Tusa Consultant Alan Talkington

Unfinished Business

                Countywide Public Safety Radio System

ED Rataczak advised and went over radio testing that has been happening at the Center. She advised the Board that we have been using JASCO trainees and employees for testing. Alan with TUSA advised the Board that there will be additional testing when it comes time for portable testing. Alan also advised the Board that we would be testing with Greene County.

                Joplin New Tower

ED Rataczak advised the Board that the RFP for the new tower will be going out soon. The RFP has been reviewed by several, and once it is ready we will have another meeting to approve and send out.

At 12:11 p.m Director Corum motioned to go into closed session for the purpose of personnel records. Director Stanley seconded the motion. Vote: 5-0. The motion was adopted.

At 12:39 p.m. Director Stanley made a motion to return to open session.  Director Corum seconded the motion.  Vote: 5-0 the motion was adopted.

At 12:40 p.m. Director Corum motioned to adjourn. Director Stanley seconded the motion. Vote: 5-0. The motion was adopted.

The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1^st, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
