Board of Directors Special Meeting
Jasper County Emergency Services
June 11th, 2014
Chairman at Large Jeff Fries via conference call called the meeting to order at 12:16 p.m., at the Board office, 13870 Dispatch Lane, Carthage, MO as per public notice. Present in addition to Chairman Fries were Ron Brewer, Tim Wilson via conference call, Greg Dagnan, and Dan Stanley. Representing staff was Executive Director April Tarrant and Administrative Services Manager McGee Stoller. There were no Public Attendees.
Unfinished Business
Eastern District Board Director Position
Executive Director Tarrant opened discussion regarding the Eastern District Board Director Position applicants James Harrison and Chris Thompson. A discussion by the Board followed.
Director Wilson motioned to select Chris Thompson to the Eastern District Board Director Position. Director Dagnan seconded the motion. Vote: 4-0, Brewer abstained.
Agreement
Executive Director Tarrant presented for review a revised copy of the agreement from The Joplin City Attorney. A discussion by the Board followed.
Director Brewer motioned to accept the Agreement with The City of Joplin as presented. Director Stanley seconded the motion. Vote: 5-0. The motion was adopted.
12:40 p.m. Director Brewer motioned to adjourn. Director Dagnan seconded the motion. Vote: 5-0. The motion was adopted.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
